Investment Opportunities for British Business seminar arranged by the government of Moscow and Russo-British Chamber of Commerce took place in Moscow today.
Addressing the audience at the Digital Business Space, Stuart Lawson, RBCC Board Member, noted the extraordinary progress the city has made in supporting businesses, investors and promoting economic cooperation. Yet when coming to operate in a foreign nation, businesses and investments “need to have clear understanding of the environment and to be also aware of differences between perception and reality.”
Given the current situation, economic forecasts are grey, Stuart Lawson said, “Yet we are to cooperate and to determine niches in the markets, and they are plenty. So the goal is to get businesses talking and looking towards operating together.”
The local authorities and RBCC join efforts in order “to bring together people interested in cooperating, and RBCC’s mission is to help convey right message to the right people,” he concluded.
