A new Sukhoi Superjet 100 manufactured by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Zhukovsky Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute was presented at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2019 in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region.
As of now, the manufacturers have produced over 160 jets and plan to assemble another 20 this year. Last year, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Aeroflot signed an agreement of intent to supply 100 more Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, the delivery to begin this year and continue until 2026. Aeroflot currently operates 49 SSJ100.
