Sberbank and DHL Express have established joint awards called ‘Exporters: The Next Level’, which aim to identify and support the best Russian practices in export activities,the bank’s corporate website reported.
Awards will be handed out in three categories: Export Example, Exporter & Innovator of the Year and E-commerce Exporter of the Year (DHL Express’s special nomination). The winners will be selected based on growth of export sales, geography of exports, product promotion strategy for foreign markets, innovative nature of exported products, and use of online resources for export sales.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who export their products will be invited to compete for the awards.
“Supporting Russian exports and increasing the volume of non-energy exports is a priority for Sberbank and Russia in general. Exporters: The Next Level is an excellent opportunity for businesspeople to make themselves known, share their success stories and experience with future exporters, and also directly participate in cultivating Russian exports,” Natalya Goludina, Director of Sberbank’s International Economic Partnership Development Division, noted.
The winners of Exporters: The Next Level awards will be announced and awarded at the 3rd annual conference International Economic Activity. The Next Level. Export on 28 February in Moscow. Experts and businesspeople will share experience and successful business cases, and talk about going global and promoting business outside of Russia, how Russian companies should be supported abroad, and how to finance international economic activity.
