The world will be irrevocably changed after the coronavirus – writer

The COVID 19 pandemic will lead to a major transformation of the modern world, futurist writer Sergei Pereslegin said.

As the writer noted, there is no such thing as a coronavirus pandemic in reality. The impact of Hong Kong flu, for example, is far worse, let alone smallpox or the plague, the writer said quoted by Komsomolskaya Pravda.

The disproportionality between the scale of the threat and the global response is truly surprising, the writer said. This looks like it is not so much about the threat – but about the profits someone is going to gain from the response.

The coronavirus will put an end to the age of globalization, Sergei Pereslegin emphasized. The COVID 19 pandemic will be followed by others, so the world will never be the same.
