A priority investment project in timber harvesting has been completed in the Vologda Region.
The completion was confirmed by an order of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The project included the creation of a facility to process timber and the organization of timber harvesting at the Sivezh company.
Facilities to produce a wide range of timber products (sawn lumber, furniture board, laminated veneer lumber, charcoal and others) were opened and a unit to harvest and transport timber with a capacity of 187K cubic meters was launched as part of the priority investment project.
The total investment in the project was some RUR 546 mio ($7.4 mio).
