Arkhbum Tissue Group, an affiliate of the Arkhangelsk Cellulose & Paper Mill, Russia’s largest producer of copybooks, cardboard and packaging cellulose, has launched the production line at the Vorsino industrial park in the Borovsk County of the Kaluga Region.
The construction began in 2018, and in the two next years, the project raised investments worth over RUR 9.7 bln ($141 mio). The total cost of the project was RUR 11.5 bln.
According to the company’s official website, the new facility produces two kinds of paper towels and five kinds of toilet paper, up to 70K tons per year.
