Turkey meat production facility launched in Tambov Region

The second production line has started operating at a local major joint poultry manufacturing enterprise in Russia’s Tambov Region. 

The venture, which is large both capacity- and investment-wise, has launched the line to manufacture turkey meat, a healthy and nutritious product.     

The facility includes three bird feeding sites, each with the capacity of 196,000 head, and a finisher feed site, with its capacity of 200,000 head. Work has been implemented to expand the hatchery section and the slaughterhouse. 

The project implementation required a substantial amount of over RUR 4.6 bln ($64 mio). The estimated annual capacity of the production line will total 30,000 tons of meat.
