Two international companies have been included in the registry of participants of the special administrative area on Oktyabrsky Island in the Kaliningrad Region. Hitlink Limited and Monter Investments Limited are now among the 27 international companies and one international foundation currently registered on Okryabrsky.
Foreign companies can register an international company in a special administrative area through redomiciliation. The international company status will be provided on several conditions. First of all, a foreign organization must be operating in several countries, including Russia, as of January 1, 2018. The organization must also invest at least RUR 50 mio ($729K) in Russia within the first six months since its registration as an international company. International companies are non-resident but eligible to certain tax concessions.
