Two solar power plants to appear in Adygea

A new solar power plant has been built neat Maikop, the capital of the Republic of Adygea.

This is the first stage of a large-scale renewable energy investment project in the Republic of Adygea. The second stage will include the construction of another solar power plant, Shovgenovskaya, with a capacity of 4.9 MW.

The capacity of the first solar power plant is 4 MW; the plant is expected to produce 5.132 kWh of electrical energy per year.

The project operator, Hevel, will invest a total of over RUR 950 mio ($12.3 mio) in the project.
