RussiaTALK Investment Forum convened by the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce and themed Unlocking New Opportunities, took place in Moscow on Friday.
The forum gathered numerous RBCC members, partners and guests. The speakers all noted successful operation of the RBCC and a visible progress in bilateral trade and business ties, as well as good prospects for their further expansion.
In his welcome address, HRH Prince Michael of Kent, RBCC Patron, reminded of the meeting the captains of the UK business had with the President of Russia earlier in the year to discuss bilateral economic relations. The concerns of the UK and Russian business circles thus received attention at the top political level and efforts to arrange another meeting with the President are currently underway.
HRH Prince Michael of Kent also noted that business relations between the two countries are even deeper and stronger than they may seem, and that there are multifaceted contacts in education, healthcare and culture too. Besides, he pointed out that the regions of Russia offer UK businesses good opportunities of participating in large investment projects.
