Vityaz missile system ready for Army 2019 expo

The Zvezda TV channel has published a video of the S-350 Vityaz surface-to-air missile system preparing for the Army-2019 International Military-Technical Forum.

The Vityaz, developed by Almaz-Antey Concern, was created to protect administrative, industrial and military facilities and is capable of warding off attacks by various aerial warfare at both extremely low and high altitudes. The missile system can operate both autonomously and as part of air defense units controlled by a command and control center.

The system can strike a target within a 60-km range and at altitude of up to 30 km. The speed of the target can be up to 4,800 m/sec. The system can be activated and deactivated in just five minutes.
