
International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019 is being held between August 27 and September 1, 2019, in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region. The civil and military aircraft trade show is taking place for the 14th time.
MAKS is one of the world’s top five aviation salons. This year 827 companies are participating in the show, including 184 companies from 33 foreign countries. There are ten national pavilions at MAKS 2019, China having the largest display. For the first time, Samara and Ulyanovsk Regions, Republic of Tatarstan and Perm Territory organized a joint section representing the aviation regions of Russia. A total of 26.5K sq. m. of exhibition space was booked, as well as 45K sq. m. of open-air sites and a stationary aircraft display. Also for the first time, a pavilion was designated for unmanned aviation systems and general-purpose aircraft.
Some 210 latest civil and military planes and helicopters as well as airborne vehicles from previous eras will be showcased at the stationary display and involved in an air show.
The air salon program includes around 80 conferences and roundtable discussions, news conferences and presentations that will be held both in the press center, the conference center and at the participants’ booths and exhibit chalets.
