Russia’s Aeroflot has processed more than 100K applications for issue of e-vouchers as compensation for unused tickets and additional services purchased before 1 May 2020, corporate website reports.
Testing of the system started on 26 May on the company’s website. On the first day, 207 applications were processed, and as of now the system handles more than 8K applications daily.
E-vouchers are valid for three years and can be redeemed against any number of tickets and services when booking via Aeroflot’s contact center and on the airline’s website. Passengers can apply for e-vouchers until 31 December 2020.
