According to Dmitry Rogozin, Roscosmos state corporation, will not develop a new model of Angara carrier.
“Angara-A3 rocket has a payload of 17 tons and is capable to reach a low orbit. Its parameters are quite identical to those of Soyuz-5. It’s therefore feasible to focus on light and heavy Angaras,” Rogozin said.
Four categories of Angara space carriers have capacities between 1.5 (Angara-1.1) and 35 (Angara-A7) tons. The rocket uses an environmentally friendly fuel.
