Russia will set a large aircraft servicing and repair center for Asia-Pacific

15th Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA’2019) in Malaysia is now over. This year, Russia’s exposition showcased over 500 samples of military products.

Following the exhibition, Russia aims to set an aircraft service center for the entire Asia-Pacific Region. Currently, a service center is already in operation in Malaysia and modernizes Su-30MKM. A new center may be servicing aircraft operated by Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Malaysia.

Malaysian center currently employs 30% of Russian technicians and 70% of highly qualified local specialists. The new center will maintain the ratio and will service for both military and civilian aircraft.
