Siberia’s largest solar power plant has been launched in the Republic of Altai.
The plant is located near the village of Amur in the Ust-Koksa County, Republic of Altai. The total capacity of all solar panels will be some 40 MW. The combined capacity of all solar power plants in the region will be 120 MW.
The annual electricity production is expected to reach 154 mio kWh and will cover one third of the region’s energy demand.
