Artificial intelligence to control production at Omsk Refinery

The production cycle at the Omsk Refinery will be monitored by artificial intelligence.

Gazprom Neft’s Omsk Refinery has recently installed a vibration monitoring system to monitor the production cycle equipment at the oil refinery’s most important facilities.

It is noteworthy that the new system was developed by Russian experts; the system integrates with the general diagnostics network at the refinery and is aimed at eliminating equipment failures before they harm production process.

The vibration monitoring system introduced in Omsk is highly praised by foreign experts: according to the expert commission of the US Hydrocarbon Processing Awards, it is the best technology that uses artificial intelligence in oil and gas processing.
