In 2019, the hazelnut processing plant in Azerbaijan’s Zagatala has increased its production by 20% against the first half of 2018, Trend agency reports.
The company employs Turkish-made equipment and can further expand its production to 1.6K tons and export up to 1.5K tons of finished products. Current exports stand at about 1K tons of processed hazelnuts. The production and export volumes directly depend on market supply and demand.
The plans are to launch exports to Ukraine and other countries by the end of the year.
