Moscow is ready to consider options of cooperation with foreign partners that specialise in holding large business forums. Deputy Moscow Mayor Natalya Sergunina made this announcement at a meeting with representatives of the international company Reed MIDEM that organises business events in dozens of countries, including  France, the US, Singapore and China.

According to Moscow Mayor official website, the meeting was initiated by the foreign guests. Considering the rapid development of the Russian capital and consolidation of its positions among the leading metropolitan areas, they offered the Moscow Government the opportunity to host a large international business forum on new technology, digital media and advanced types of content.

“We have worked with Russian companies for many years and would like to consider holding a major event in Moscow,” said Jerome Delhave, director of the company’s entertainment division.

The forum may become an annual event both for the participants from Russia and abroad.

“We are interested in finding our niche for work on a permanent basis. This will give us additional opportunities for promoting Moscow business on foreign markets. IT solutions and other smart city technology may become a priority,” said Ms Sergunina.

She said that Moscow’s practice in this area is needed both in Russian and abroad, including such advanced countries as Singapore.
