Companies that will become new residents of the Innopolis special economic zone want to invest some RUR 7.7 bln ($103 mio) in it.
This sum was outlined in their applications and presented at a meeting of the Supervisory Council of the special economic zone that was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Eight companies of various sectors submitted applications and all of them were approved by the council.
One of the new resident companies, Orgneftekhim IT, will develop software to deal with various tasks of designing industrial objects and complex construction projects.
Another one, InnoSTage Development Center, will create a system for monitoring physical security of various facilities.
Evotech-Mirai Genomics will deal with the novel coronavirus pandemic by developing diagnostic test kits.
