The vehicle should be manufactured with numerous sustainable materials and priced below € 40K. In this case, Austria is in competition with sites in the USA and China. If the company succeeds in winning the contract, the Fisker Ocean will be produced by Magna Steyr in Graz since 2022.

The electric-powered automobile with the “green” label should also be vegan, i.e. without animal leather. The plastic should be derived from recycled plastics from the oceans, which is the reason for the choice of this vehicle name. Photovoltaic cells on the roof of the automobile are designed as an additional source of battery charging.

The range of the Fisker Ocean is expected to be in vicinity of 500 km. This car was conceived by the Danish car designer Henrik Fisker residing in California. He was involved in the production of vehicles such as BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, and V8 Vantage.
