Experts from the National Research Institute of Labor under the Russian Ministry of Labor named the most in-demand jobs in Russia. The list includes accountants, welders, confectioners, bartenders, chemical engineers and nanotechnology experts.
Other high-demand jobs include waiters, elevator mechanics and lathe operators. The country also needs more electrical fitters, biotechnology managers and rehabilitation trainers.
According to Russia Today TV channel, pharmaceutical managers and team leaders at electric power plants are also in demand.
Software developers are traditionally popular, especially those engaged in big data and cloud services. According to the Institute of Labor, IT jobs will remain popular in the next five years, but may undergo transformation.
