Russian cookies, ice cream and vegetable oil are, as a rule, high quality and can compete with similar foreign products, according to Russian Quality System (Roskachestvo) Director Maxim Protasov.
Additionally, Roskachestvo found that Russia produces quality products made of grain and flour. Another quality product is Russian meat that is exported to Latin America.
Roskachestvo expanded the list by including Russian short-grain rice of high gustatory quality. Russia is also developing its cheese and wine production and its cheeses and wines may soon catch up foreign products in terms of quality.
