According to an analysis by independent researchers published on the NordPass password manager’s blog, the most ineffective passwords are easy to guess number combinations.
Experts comprised a list of the most easily hacked passwords. After ‘12345’ the next top passwords on the list are simple numerical strings such as 111111 and a bit less common 123321. Hackers also have no problem with dealing with popular women’s names, such as Nicole, Kommersant daily writes.
Sometimes users press random keys on a standard QWERTY keyboard to generate a password; such passwords are also easily hacked.
