
The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, the Federal Service for Natural Resources, government of the Lipetsk Region and NMLK metal giant signed a deal to launch the Clean Air project.
The project will protect the country’s environment by curbing industrial emissions. Vladimir Lisin’s company will spend over RUR 20 bln ($307.6 mln) on the initiative. The agreement was signed by Acting Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Artamonov, Head of the Federal Service for Natural Resources Svetlana Radionova, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Denis Khramov and NMLK Group President Grigory Fedorishin. Clean Air is one of the projects of the Environment national project to be put in action during the five years between 2019 and 2024.
