A discussion took place in Moscow dealing with topical matters concerning medical service exports.
Market investors had a meeting with Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovations Alexei Fursin and focused on barriers hampering the operations of non-residents at local clinics and preventive-treatment facilities, as well as the snail’s pace plus complicated certification of medical companies.
“Without a doubt I am quite certain that our joint work will make it possible to preserve Moscow’s position as Russia’s No. 1 exporter and will open up new sales markets for its medical equipment and services,” Alexei Fursin proudly pointed out.
Today, Moscow delivers over 7,500 different sorts of categories of products to 189 countries and has an impressive potential for advancing medical tourism too, as it receives numerous patients from China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Israel.
Established last year, the Moscow Export Centre acts like a one-stop shop for regional exporters who can obtain export subsidies and request advice and up-to-date information and the centre’s experts also help when it comes to organising exhibitions.
The Moscow Export Centre’s experts came up with the Made in Moscow programme, with local companies presenting their wares and services on international markets under this brand. The Moscow Export Centre completely reimburses manufacturers for their expenses at leading Russian and foreign trade fairs. The Centre also organises business get-togethers between programme participants, purchasers, potential partners and foreign clients.
