In 2020, Moscow companies to present their products at trade fairs in 12 countries

Voting among entrepreneurs has finished on the Moscow Export Centre’s website. They have chosen the countries to present products under the Made in Moscow brand in 2020, Moscow Mayor official website reports.

The list of countries has been compiled by the Moscow Export Centre’s specialists. They took into account the scale of international trade fairs, assessed the exporting prospects for the products from Moscow, and the efficiency of previous visiting of similar events by Moscow entrepreneurs.

“Business community representatives had the opportunity to both vote, and to offer an alternative version of the event to present the Moscow brand. In 2020, the Made in Moscow booth will be presented at the trade fairs in 12 countries, in six of them for the first time, including Singapore, South Korea and India,” said Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Moscow Mayor in the Moscow Government.

Moscow companies will take part in various industry trade shows. IT companies will be presented at the CommunicAsia trade fair in Singapore and GITEX-2020  in Dubai. Companies dealing with computers, electronics and electrical engineering will go to the Productronica India in Delhi. Representatives of the mechanical engineering industry will attend the Warsaw Industry Week. Healthcare companies are to take part in KIMES (Seoul), Medica — 2020 (Dusseldorf), KIHE — 2020 (Almaty) and Medic East Africa — 2020 (Nairobi). The food industry will present its products at SIAL Middle East  in Abu Dhabi and World Food Kazakhstan in Almaty.

Children’s goods industry companies will take part in the Childhood and Children’s Fashion trade showsin Almaty. Architects, engineers and designers will take part in Big Five Dubai. Cinema and animation representatives will travel to the European Film Market in Berlin, and Kidscreen Summit in Miami. Next year, Moscow companies will present their products at the diversified Sitic trade fair in Tunisia, which is expected to make them enter the African market.

“The Made in Moscow program has been operating since 2016. During this time, it has proved its effectiveness. To date, about 730 Moscow companies have participated in 38 international trade shows, with some 13,000 business meetings held with foreign buyers,” said Alexei Fursin, Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovations.

The Moscow Export Centre was established by the Moscow Government in November 2017 to promote the products of Moscow manufacturers on foreign markets.
