Intermuseum awards ISS Calling

Three of Moscow’s museums received awards at the 22nd Intermuseum international festival. Nearly 400 Russian and foreign cultural venues participated this year, Moscow Mayor’s web page reports.

The Cosmonautics Museum was placed first in the Best Educational Project nomination for its weekly ISS Calling educational program, which it launched together with the Vkontrakte social network and the Roscosmos space corporation. The program is a show where invited celebrities can call the International Space Station and talk to cosmonauts.

The Cosmonautics Museum also won the Intermuseum’20 festival’s Grand Prix for the ISS Calling program and Volcanoes and Space: Connecting Worlds exhibition project.

Two more Moscow’s museums received honorary mention, namely Tsaritsyno Estate Museum and Darwin Museum.
