In 2018, 360,204 LADA cars were sold in Russia, 16% more than a year earlier and well above market average, the company reports. In December 2018, its sales reached 35,407 cars, the best result of monthly sales for the past four years.
Four LADA models are in the TOP10 sales list in Russia, namely Vesta (108,364), Granta (106,325), Largus (53,691), and XRAY (34,807).
In 2018, LADA continued building its dealer network, the largest in Russia with 288 sales and service centers which also showed positive business dynamics of 7%.
In 2018, 38,052 LADA cars were exported to 34 countries (59% up compared to 2017). The performance was particularly strong in Kazakhstan and Belarus where LADA was number 1 and 2, reespectively.
According to Jan Ptacek, Executive Vice President for sales and marketing, ”2018 was an exceptional year for LADA. We were able to secure a 20% market share, and the result of the sales is the best in the last seven years. We have ambitious plans.
