The Republic of Bashkortostan is becoming one of the regions engaged in rail wheel repair for cargo railcars.
A production facility for repair and maintenance of wheels for cargo railcars has been opened at a ceremony with the participation of the Head of Bashkortostan Rady Khabirov.
The capacity of the new enterprise will be 1.6K wheels per month. It is noteworthy that the project is being implemented in several stages, while the total investment reaches RUR 314 mio ($4 mio).
At the first stage, RAILGO company, engaged in transport and shipping, renovated the facility shops, purchased and installed repair and other equipment. A storage for wheel pairs and personnel facilities were also provided.
