LUKOIL, Russia’s best exporter

At the recent Russian Automotive Forum in Moscow, LUKOIL received the best national exporter award as the professional automotive community’s recognition of its successes as a supplier of automotive lubes to foreign markets, corporate webpage reported.

Currently, LUKOIL delivers automotive lubes to over 40 countries worldwide. Over the past year, it has set up broad dealer networks in Mexico and China, and a subsidiary in Morocco to run corporate operations in Africa, while retaining a firm standing in the EU market, being one of the five European lubes suppliers to German car factories.

“Being recognized by the professional automotive community is very important for us. We are not the only ones who are due credit for this award, so are our partners, international automakers. LUKOIL has decided to enter new markets via opening expansion-oriented subsidiaries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Our strategy in these regions includes first fill deliveries of lubricants to car manufacturing plants. We have been moving steadily from local deliveries of lubricants to international car producers operating in Russia toward development of global cooperation projects,” LUKOIL Vice President Maxim Donde said.
