Made in Moscow products showcased by 370 Moscow companies at international exhibitions

On 3-7 December, the Moscow Expocentre is hosting the Russian Health Care Week 2018, where the Made in Moscow brand and business support programme were presented two years ago. In 2018, 45 companies are representing the trademark at the country’s largest medical forum.

Since the launch of the programme, 370 enterprises have joined. They were able to talk about their capabilities and innovative developments at the 20 largest technology exhibitions held in Hannover, Barcelona, Munich, Düsseldorf, Dubai and other cities.

As part of the Made in Moscow programme, the city finances up to 100 percent of the cost of business participation in Russian and foreign exhibitions, and also organises business meetings with potential foreign partners and investors for entrepreneurs.

“In two years, 370 companies have already joined the Made in Moscow programme. In addition to financing the costs of participating in exhibitions, the city has organised more than 7,000 business meetings for them. As a result, the companies managed to conclude almost 400 contracts totalling over 736 million roubles. Another 435 agreements worth 2.4 billion roubles are now being negotiated. The first results speak for themselves: the capital has a huge export capacity. Our technology companies quite confidently compete with foreign ones, so we will continue to support exporters to achieve even more together,” said Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

At the Russian Health Care Week 2018, Moscow companies presents innovative developments in the field of digital medicine, rehabilitation and treatment of cardiovascular diseases under the Made in Moscow brand: for example, exoskeletons that help restore musculoskeletal function in patients with various spinal cord injuries. The first Russian blood circulation auxiliary device, Sputnik, intended for patients with severe forms of heart failure, is also on display.
