The solar power station that produces electrical energy in the Maima County of the Republic of Altai will be operating remotely.
This is the first project of this kind in Siberia.
The trials were held to ensure the remote operation of the station and on September 3, 2019, the station was considered ready.
The Maima Solar Power Plant was built in three stages; the latter, with a capacity of 5 MW, was launched on April 1, 2019. The total capacity of the plant built by Hevel Group is 25 MW.
It is expected that by the end of 2019, the total solar power generating capacity of the Republic of Altai will reach 129 MW, which is comparable to a small thermal power plant.
