Most of Moscow’s exports go to the UK, Kazakhstan and Belarus

Moscow’s non-resource exports has increased by 15% in the first 10 months of 2019 from the same period last year, Moscow Mayor official website reports. Mostly exported goods are mechanical equipment, machinery and computers, making up $4.9 bln January to October.

“For the first 10 months of 2019 alone, the total non-resource and non-energy exports of Moscow made up $21.9 billion. At the same time, the exports have increased by 15.05 per cent from the same period last year. So, we observe stable positive dynamics. At the end of 2018, Russia got three positions up in the ranking of the largest exporting countries to become 28th,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

Most of Moscow’s exports go to the UK, with Kazakhstan ranking second. Belarus closes the TOP3, followed by Turkey and the United States.

Moscow products worth $ 3.4 bln have been sold in the UK, with goods sold to Kazakhstan making up $2.11 bln. Belarus bought goods for $2.1 bln, Turkey bought for $1.6 bln, export to the United States has made up $1.5 bln.
