Acting Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Artamonov has held a working meeting with Ulrich Bettermann, Managing Director of OBO Bettermann GmbH & Co KG, to discuss the prospects for further development of its project; the company is a resident of the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

The German group Bettermann manufactures cable support systems, lightning protection and earthing systems, fastening and installation systems. It opened the first phase of production in Russia’s Lipetsk SEZ in 2016. By now, the second phase has been built, and the third one is being designed; the construction will begin in summer 2019 and will be completed in 2020. Investment in the new facility will amount to about €20 mio.
