Patrol robots to detect quarantine violators

Chinese hospitals have already been using disinfection robots; new patrol robots will detect quarantine violators.

It is not easy to detect all violators of quarantine rules: those who does not wear masks or goes outside having a fever.

In order to control the spread of the virus in public places, the Chinese government is now using robots developed by Guangzhou Gosuncn Robot Co., Ltd.

The new model is fitted with infrared thermometers that can measure the temperature of several people simultaneously, while five cameras allow for detecting those without masks.

If the robot sees that someone has left the house without a mask or is seen outside with a fever, it will send an alert to relevant medical organizations.

The robots made by Guangzhou Gosuncn Robot are self-propelled, but can be operated from a coordination center if necessary.
