Promobot V.4, a robot manufactured in Russia’s Perm, has found a job at an American college where it will give free consultations to students.

The robot can answer students’ questions, help them with their schedule and to get around the campus. It will also be able to explain what teacher is currently giving lecture in what classroom, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

Russian-made Promobots already work at schools in Saudi Arabia and at St Petersburg Mining University. They are also used as promoters, consultants and tour guides.

According to experts, the US purchased Russian robots due to their competitive price.
