Rainier AG offers global investment for Russian companies

Rainier AG, an independent Swiss asset management company, has entered Russia’s market as an STO (Security Token Offering) provider for large and medium-sized businesses, as well as for prospective startups, corporate press release reports.

Everywhere, well-experienced financial services companies are choosing to bring new fundraising technologies, like blockchain, to their clients. Rainer AG which has been providing asset management services since 1971, has chosen to do just that. Their latest market focus is Russia and the broader CIS region.

Rainier AG is well suited for the task. The company has obtained licenses for various financial services, including for securities management and for the custody of crypto and fiat currencies. Additionally, they are in close cooperation with regulators in a great number of jurisdictions.

As an STO provider, Rainier AG works to ensure organizational, legal, and technological support for projects at all stages of fundraising campaigns. This includes obtaining a written approval from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the launch of a marketing and sales campaign relating to an STO.

“Today, the concept of STOs is mostly widespread in the crypto community whereas people who do not belong to the crypto world don’t know anything about it,” remarks Evgeny Kabanov, head of Rainier AG’s representative office for Russia and CIS. “Nevertheless, STOs have huge potential and they can serve as a great alternative for companies which don’t have access to IPOs or to other methods of fundraising. Another positive factor is that STOs offer safeguards for investor funds.”

Since late 2018, Rainier AG has been developing a blockchain ecosystem that is intended to bring together crypto and fiat as a single, interoperable, financial instrument.
