
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (Russia’s sovereign wealth fund) announces a cooperation agreement with the National Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of India (Invest India). The agreement was signed today in the presence of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin and the Prime-Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, the corporate website reports.
The partners intend to jointly search for attractive investment projects that help strengthen bilateral economic ties and increase the volume of mutual investments between Russia and India and enable their implementation.
“The development of partnerships with investment institutions in Asia is a key focus area for RDIF. This cooperation with Invest India creates great opportunities for businesses in both countries, enables expansion into new markets and the attraction of investments for projects. The agreement also serves as an important contribution to the strengthening of bilateral economic ties between Russia and India”, Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said.
