Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and International Foundation of Technology and Investment (IFTI) Chairman of the Board Yury Cherches signed a cooperation agreement in order to develop the market for innovative and high-tech commercial projects and also to provide assistance with raising funding and investment for technological startup projects, corporate web page reported.

Per the Agreement, the parties will not only jointly select promising technological projects for funding, but will also provide technical assistance to prepare for investments.

“Our global objective is to develop the innovation market of the Russian Federation in order to promote Russian technological solutions. To accomplish this goal, we will not only attract domestic but foreign investors as well. We will provide maximum support to promising startup projects to raise investment for business development”, Stuglev said.

As part of this cooperation, conditions and infrastructure will be created for investors to have easy and transparent access to innovative and high-tech projects. Projects will also be provided with marketing and informational assistance for promotion using the Foundation’s tools and mechanisms.

“We are developing various mechanisms to search for and select promising projects, including the BUSINESS PRIORITY National Competition of Innovative and High-Tech Projects. We are grateful to the Foundation for supporting our activities to fund major investment projects. Thanks to the resources of Roscongress, we will be able to involve the maximum number of projects in the competition and select the most effective and promising ones to support”, Cherches said.
