Test procedures preceding official acceptance have begun on the new cross-border railway bridge over the Amur River, the main waterway in the Amur Region.
The construction quality was evaluated to confirm the absence of flaws that could lead to the impossibility of using the strategically important structure: the new bridge provides a border crossing in the area of Blagoveshchensk in Russia and Heihe on the Chinese bank.
The tests have been carried out by Russian and Chinese specialists.
