Russian economy to return to a growth path

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin chaired a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Coordination Council to control the incidence of novel coronavirus infection in Russia, website of the government reports.

Mishustin instructed the government to develop a new package of urgent measures to support the economy and citizens, as well as recommendations for a step-by-step exit from the regime of restrictions associated with the spread of the coronavirus infection, and “a national action plan to restore employment, income and economic growth ensuring the resumption of business life in the country, the revitalization of the labor market, as well as the return of the economy to a growth path.” He stressed it should be “smooth and carefully worked-out actions to avoid a new outbreak of the infection.”

The Prime Minister specifically noted “importance of supporting zoos, dolphinariums, aquariums and circuses.”
