The Russian government has banned anybody but pharmaceutical companies from selling medical face masks. It is also prohibited now to mark up prices too high.
The government decided to regulate prices on medical masks and gloves as the media report ten-fold price boost on these products.
However, from now on, these mark-ups will be illegal. The government proposed that the prices on masks be raised by no more than 10%, Interfax reports. The restrictions will also apply to gauze and protective clothing for medical workers.
