Ravis agricultural holding company is planning to expand production at its poultry facility in the Chelyabinsk Region and improve its environmental friendliness.
Several workshops will be ungraded, new equipment and a 4 MW power unit will be installed, and a new wastewater treatment system will be launched.
The funding for the modernization project, about RUR 5 mio ($79,500), will be provided by the Russian banking sector leader, Sberbank.
“The Chelyabinsk Region is one of the national leaders in meat production, second only to the Belgorod Region,” said Natalia Chizh, an agricultural and food market expert. “This expansion project will further strengthen the region’s position in the Russian market. Incidentally, competition in the poultry segment is higher than, for example, in the beef segment.”
