Uranium mining infrastructure for Trans-Baikal Territory to be modernized

The uranium mine in Krasnokamensk, Trans-Baikal Territory, will receive new infrastructure.

A total of RUR 1.3 bln ($21 mio) has been allocated for the project as part of an agreement with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

The mine will receive new electric grids, including a step-down substation. In addition, an automobile road and wastewater treatment facilities will be built there.
