Russians can become infected with the coronavirus even staying at home, virologist Anatoly Alshtein said.
According to the doctor, the risk of infection is quite real albeit low – the virus can be brought home with groceries and even water.
To avoid this, he recommends boiling water and washing groceries purchased at the store. This is just common precaution against enteric infections, the doctor emphasized.
Also, Anatoly Alshtein advised Russians to wash their hands and wipe surfaces as often as possible in an interview with Channel Five.
