200 KAMAZ electric buses for Moscow

KAMAZ won a new tender for the delivery in 2020 of 200 electric buses (30 passenger seats, 85 people capacity) to Moscow and for their maintenance for 15 subsequent years with warranty period being four years. The first batch of ten new-generation vehicles will be shipped in February, the last one in August.

In 2018, the company won its first tender for the delivery of 100 electric buses and 31 charging stations to the city. The manufacturer also guaranteed maintenance of all KAMAZ electric buses and charging infrastructure for 15 years from the date of delivery. In 2019, the company further supplied 100 electric buses and 38 charging stations.

There are 19 routes in Moscow where KAMAZ eco-friendly electric buses currently run transporting about 150K passengers daily.
