The agreement to build a flaxseed oil plant was signed by Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev and ACBA chairman of the board Henri-Francois Christian Marie Vandeputte.
The total amount of investment will reach RUR 1.6 bln ($26 mio). The new plant’s daily capacity will be 450 tons of flaxseed oil; the annual capacity will be 130K tons. There will also be a facility to store up to 30K tons of flaxseeds. The plant will become the world’s largest flax processing facility.
The project will also create some 30 jobs.
