Every fifth Russian wants a robot to be their boss, according to a LEADx survey.
As many 25% of Russian men and 15% of women like the idea of having a robot as their boss; 30% of employees want to be managed by a humanoid robot, a suggestion picked by 38% of men and 21% of women, Incrussia magazine reports.
The idea is largely supported by young people under the age of 30; they believe robots will be more competent and objective executives. Another reason why they would like to have a robot as their boss is that they do not like the existing one. On the other hand, the majority of respondents said they were wary of robots and doubted their capabilities. The survey canvassed 1,080 employees aged 25 to 50.
