Russians will be permitted to fly abroad not earlier than late September, according to Maya Lomidze, Director of the Association of Travel Companies.
She commented that some popular tourist destinations are expected to open in the fall. However, this is still an optimistic scenario.
In her comment for Govorit Moskva, Maya Lomidze added that Mediterranean countries, including Turkey, may open for Russians. Still, there is a pessimistic scenario, according to which foreign travel will not resume until December.
